UFC 137 card

On Saturday 29 will have UFC 137 were BJ. Penn will fight with Nick Diaz. As a UFC writer and fan I can't wait to see this match. This probably will be the best fight of the night. Although the GSP was out of the card due a knee injury but this card it's still a very good one.
Besides the Penn vs. Diaz fight will have bouts like Kongo vs. Mitrione . That is a fight that we can expect a standup war. Since the participation on The Ultimate Fighter, Mitrione have a perfect record in the UFC with 5-0. Kongo made one of the best comebacks that I have seen in a fight when being nearly out he Ko Pat Barry. In this fight Kongo seems to be the one with more experience but Mitrione gets better in every fight. I can see Mitrione improving once more and winning this fight by ko on the 2nd round.
Another fight that many hardcore fans are very interest is in Hiaki vs. Roop. In this fight Hatsu Hioki made his debut in the UFC and there are many expectations from him. Many considered him right now the #2 Featherweight and if he wins this fight we can expect seen him challenging Featherweight champion Jose Aldo. George Roop is not an easy opponent but I think that Hioki will be too much for him.
There will be another heavyweight bout in this card and is The Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner Roy "Big Country" Nelson vs. a legend in this sport Mirko "Crop Cop" Filipovic. There is a good chance that this will be the last fight of any of this 2 in the UFC. Both fighter come with 2 loses strike and a third lose can send one of them out of lines of the UFC. It is hard to see this version of Crop Cop; his doesn't even look with any desires for fight. In other hand Roy Nelson although he doesn't have the body structure of a natural Heavyweight he always deliver and his last 2 loses were to a top 5 fighter and a top 10 fighter. I think that this is the last time that will see Crop Cop in the UFC because I expect a ko from Roy Nelson.
One thing I don't understand from this card is that the Cerrone vs. Siver fight is not on the main card. In the opinion of many fans those 2 are top ten competitions and win from any of the 2 can push them near a title contention. I know that the UFC need a good fight for the prelims but with the injury that GSP received the card lost some of his power and this fight between this 2 lightweight can certainly be a good fight. Anyway I know that we will enjoy this card, so good luck to those that will make a bet.
